GREEN CHARGE NETWORKS: DEL NORTE HS AND MIKE HESS BREWERY

Back by popular demand, guests will visit Del Norte High School, part of San Diego’s third largest school district Poway. Poway boasts 6.3 MWh of energy storage in 12 campus locations and is expected to save the district more than $1.6M. Poway is also part of San Diego Gas & Electric’s storage-enabled virtual power plant and is testing capabilities for demand response, peak-load shaving capability, managing local distribution circuits and system power quality.

Mike Hess Brewing, one of San Diego’s premier breweries, is the second stop along the tour. Guests will celebrate Taco Tuesday with a brewery tour, energy storage software demonstration, and numerous refreshments, including, yes, tacos. Refreshments will be served to those 21 or over.

Both sites feature Green Charge energy storage systems.
